To be honest, I just started using concealer last year and since then I spend all my time looking for the better concealer than all concealers I've ever tried. Im aware that I can't depend on concealer forever and I have to start a healthy life or at least improve my bad sleep habits. But for me, concealer is such a life-saver coz I can't leave home without conceals my dark circles, acnes, or blemishes. That's why concealer is one of must-have item in my makeup pouch. LOL. Speaking of this concealer, I had high expectation for this when I read its description on KKCENTERHK's site. Unexpectedly, its lightweight texture and the coverage truly surprised me. So if you're interested, please keep reading! :)

PACKAGING

As usual, KKCENTERHK always wraps my packages using thick buble wraps to make sure my packages will be shipped safely. This Insiti Cover & Hiding Stick Concealer comes in plastic and pen-like packaging with a black cap. The packaging is very light and comfortable to carry arround. It's also really  easy to use, just twist the bottom of stick then the product itself comes out.

Insiti Cover & Hiding Stick Concealer is available in three shades: #01 Pearl Skin, #02 Natural Skin, and #03 Healthy Skin. I choose type #03 coz this concealer claims to cover dark circles, wrinkles, fade dull tone, spots, acne, and blemishes in order to get healthy skin. Lately, I've been searching for a concealer that effectively conceals any imperfections on my face especially my under eye area and I found this concealer quite good.

TEXTURE & SWATCH

I've tried some concealer products to hide my dark circle problems and this is definitely one of my favourite concealers. It can be built up to medium coverage that I think it's more than enough if you just need a fresh and natural look to go outside. This concealer has a yellow tone that works well for dark circle under my eyes by neutralizing dark/blue-ish colour as they are opposite each other on the color diagram.

I would say the texture of this concealer isn't too creamy but it isn't drying either. Its texture is really soft and very easy to blend! I find my previous concealer quite hard to blend but otherwise, this concealer's lightweight formula makes it easier to blend and I had no issues with creasing or even breakouts! ;) If you're sensitive to makeup products that contains fragrances or some perfumes, you might want to try this concealer since it doesn't have any floral scent or anything else. This matte finish concealer also has good staying power and lasts up to 4-5 hours.

(Bare eyes) See that? My eyes looks more tired and darker in real life. I need to go to bed earlier and the most important thing, I need to consider buying my first eye cream. Haha.

 Before & After (One layer)

I prefer to dab concealer directly on under my eyes area then pat with my finger slowly until it blends perfectly. Altough I use this concealer to fade the dark circles, but I also did some trial using this concealer to cover spot, acne, and redness on my face. The result somewhat surprised me coz I just need a little amount of this concealer to hide any imperfections on my face. Take care not to apply too much concealer so it won't look cakey and fake.

 (Two layers). After applying 2 layers of concealer, can you see the difference? My eyes look brighter and healthier. The color is also match my skin tone and blend well.

PROS

- It has medium coverage
- Good staying power

- Lightweight & soft texture

- Not too moisturizing but not drying either

- Very easy to use, just dab it directly under eyes area and pat it gently until it blends perfectly

- Effectively conceals spot, acne and blemishes as it claims
- It doesn't have any scent at all
- The color match my skin tone and make my eyes look bright and healthy
- It will not cake up if you don't put too much

RECOMMENDED?

 Absolutely yes! This concealer is one of my favourites now to get a healthy skin look instantly without being cakey.

 In this EOTD, I only used Etude CC cream, Revlon finishing powder, Insiti Concealer, and Collection lipgloss. Sorry if my picture is kinda blurry. >.< I will turn off the 'soften skin' option on my camera. lol.

Overall, I was pleasantly surprised by this concealer. Compared to all concealers I've ever owned, I found this concealer has a quite lightweight and soft texture, medium coverage, good staying power, and matte finish. It's not only cover my dark circle pretty good, but also conceals acnes, spot, and blemishes on my face as well. If you're looking for good concealer while considering tight budget, then this concealer might be your favourite one. For me, I definitely love this concealer especially if I want to have a fresh & youthful looking without too much effort. ;)

Aku harap kalian ga bosen ya dengan review produk2 Etude ya karena bulan ini aku beli nya emang kebanyakkan produk2 punya nya Etude. Wkwk.. Bukannya aku lagi pengen borong produk Etude ya tapi kebetulan aja yg kena di hati cuma si Etude. Tapi next time aku akan lebih kreatif nyobain brand2 Korea lainnya. Lol.

PACKAGING

Etude House Surprise Concealer Kit #2 ini packaging nya kayak eyeshadow pallete, terbuat dari bahan semacam plastik. Warna packaging nya merah muda dan ada tulisan di bagian depan packaging nya yg keliatan cute banget. Ukuran nya mungil dan ringan banget jadi praktis buat dibawa kemana2. :D

Pas dibuka, di bagian dalam packaging nya ada sebuah cermin yg menurut aku berguna banget kalo pas kita lagi pengen touch up. ;) Aku emang milih yg no. 2 karena aku butuh banget concealer yg 'ampuh' untuk menyamarkan dark circle alias mata panda yg nyaris tiap hari bertengger di bawah mataku. Punya mata panda itu sangat mengganggu penampilan, bikin wajah terlihat lelah dan bahkan jadi kliatan tua. :P Makanya pas milih concealer ini, aku harap produk ini bisa menyamarkan ato paling ngga mengurangi dikit dark circle di bawah mata aku. Hehe...

TEXTURE & SWATCH

Ini concealer pertama aku yg di dalamnya ada 2 shade, yaitu warna peach/salmon untuk corrector dan warna yellow sebagai brightener. Pada umumnya, daerah di bagian bawah mata kita cenderung keliatan berwarna hitam/biru gelap dan warna peach/salmon berguna untuk menetralkan warna yg cenderung gelap di bawah mata.

Concealer ini teksturnya agak creamy apalagi yg warna peach/salmon dan concealer ini juga ada kandungan moisturizer di dalam nya. :D

Berikut ini aku kasih sedikit tips cara apply concealer ini untuk membuat mata kamu jadi terlihat lebih fresh dan cerah seketika. :)

Pertama, apply sedikit yg warna peach/salmon (corrector) di area bawah mata yg cenderung berwarna gelap. Aku lebih suka apply pake jari karena lebih praktis dan hasilnya juga lebih merata jika dibandingkan pake makeup brush yg malah hasilnya jadi keliatan creasy.

 Tepuk2 perlahan jika pake jari sampe concealer merata dan warna kehitaman atau bayangan gelap di bagian bawah mata pun akan terlihat lebih netral. :)

 

Selanjutnya, apply yg warna yellow (brightener) cukup sedikit aja karena tekstur nya agak thick dan warna nya juga lumayan pigmented jadi bisa bikin mata keliatan ga natural dan cakey kalo terlalu berlebihan.

Cukup tepuk2 perlahan (jangan diusap2) concealer smpe nge blend sempurna dan voilaa.. dark circle di bawah mata aku udah lumayan tersamarkan plus area sekitar mata pun jadi terlihat lebih cerah natural. Kalo hasilnya masih kurang sempurna, kalian bisa mix lagi sesuai keinginan tapi pastikan jngan berlebihan ya. :) Salah satu alasan kenapa aku suka banget dengan concealer yg satu ini karena kedua shade nya bisa di mix untuk mendapatkan hasil yg sempurna sesuai skin tone kita dan tetap terlihat natural.

Ini adalah penampakan nya setelah menggunakan makeup dan Etude Surprise Concealer Kit step 1 (corrector) dan step 2 (brightener). Concealer ini ampuh banget buat menyamarkan dikit dark circle apalagi kalo sering begadang biasanya bikin dark circle gampang banget nongol yg bikin penampilan rasanya jadi engga banget deh. :P Concealer ini lumayan awet ya, bisa tahan sekitar 4-5 jam dan cukup touch up sedikit kalo warnanya agak luntur. ;)

Aku belum pernah nyobain yg versi spot cover no #1, tapi menurut aku yg Etude Surprise Concealer Kit no 2 ini juga bisa untuk menutupi imperfection di wajah seperti blemishes, redness, dan scar. Cukup oleskan sedikit concealer ini yg wrna yellow di area wajah yg ingin disamarkan. Untuk coverage nya sih masih level medium tapi menurut aku udah cukup banget, lagipula jika terlalu kebanyakkan pake concealer bikin makeup keliatan fake. Less is better! lol..

Yes. Karena sejauh ini, concealer satu ini yg hasilnya cukup oke untuk menyamarkan dark circle. Tapi bisa aja aku ga repurchase kalo aku menemukan yg coverage nya lbih oke dari ini.

OVERALL THOUGHT

Mata panda alias dark circle adalah salah satu problem yg sering aku alami, tapi sejak pake concealer ini aku cukup puas dengan hasilnya. Cukup mix warna peach/salmon dan yellow untuk mendapatkan hasil yg sesuai dengan keinginan. Concealer ini cukup multifungsi ya menurutku karena yg warna yellow juga bisa digunakan untuk menyamarkan blemish, redness, dan scar. Overall, concealer ini hasilnya lumayan oke dan kualitas nya cukup sebanding dengan harganya. :)
