Hola Dolls!

Beberapa hari ini kayaknya lagi mood2 nya ngeblog, lebih tepatnya meluangkan waktu lebih banyak tuk istirahat coz sibuk mlulu. -__- hehe... And btw, ini kali keempat nya aku join IBB MUC, kalo menang syukur kalo ga menang jg gpp, masih banyak next challenge. Lagipula aku iseng2 ikutan challenge ini just for fun skaligus mengasah kemampuan makeup gitu deh. hehe... :D

Jadi tema IBB MUC bulan ini adalah "SUMMER FAIRYTALE". Sebenarnya aku pribadi agak bingung mengartikan summer fairytale itu condong ke makeup look yg kayak gimana, tapi akhirnya aku putusin untuk mengikuti definisi ku sendiri. Jadi makeup look aku kali ini terinspirasi dari Snow White di film Mirror Mirror. Sebenarnya aku ga 100% re-create makeup snow white di film Mirror Mirror ini karena makeup look aku disini cukup berbeda tapi berhubung ga ada inspirasi laen jadi gapapa lha ya. Hehehe...

Sebelum nya mari liat fotd n eotd nya dulu. Makeup look aku ini cenderung ke orange-ish. Untuk mata aq pake base warna kuning gold ditumpuk warna orange, lalu dikasih sentuhan warna dark brown dan black. Sorry for not-so-good lighting soalnya bru smpet makeup nya sore2 menjelang malam.. >__< Untuk pipi aku pake warna orange agar senada dengan riasan mata. Dan untuk bibir aq agak bingung mw pake warna apa jadinya yg natural aja. Kalo warna merah kayak snow white takutnya nyempal. lol...

Kalo dibandingkan sama Lily Collins di Mirror Mirror mungkin cuma mirip rambutnya sama alis nya kali yaa.. Haha.. Kebetulan jg ada bunga 'nganggur' jadi iseng2 dipake aja buat properti. lolol...

Annyeong ~!

Udah beberapa hari ga nge blog ga terasa udah ganti bulan. Hehe.. Bulan ini adalah bulan yg lumayan sibuk karena aku mesti ngurus persiapan wisuda aku tgl 20 Nov nanti. :D And btw, ngomong soal beauty event di Surabaya, ini kali  yg kedua aku ngikutin acara beauty workshop. Beauty workshop kali ini diadakan oleh Shiseido yg berlokasi di The Grand Palace Department Store, mall Grand City Surabaya tanggal 30 Oktober kemaren. Acara workshop yg diadakan Shiseido ini cukup menarik krena mengundang Japanese Beauty Expert, Ms. Yukiko Kanemune (I wasn't wrong this time right? *lol*) untuk mendemokan makeup ala Jepang menggunakan produk2 kosmetik Shiseido.  

Acaranya mulai nya jam 6 tapi siang nya aku udah janjian sama Lina kalo kita bakal ketemuan jam 5 jadi bisa ngumpul2 dulu sebelum acara. Hehe.. Tapi aku datengnya agak telat jadi setengah 6 gitu baru nyampe di GC dan ternyata Lina dan beauty bloggers lainnya lagi pada dinner di resto Hanashobu. Hehe... Yg udah dateng ada si Lina, Oline, Zellyn, Ce Shelley, dan Ce Mindy. Kira2 setengah jam kemudian nyusul si Sasha dan Ce Yennyca. Kita smpet foto bareng sih tp aku lupa 'nitip' kamera. :P

Kira2 kayak gini suasananya pas kita nyampe di area counter Shiseido, Grand Palace. Kita nyampe disana udah setengah 7 jadi acaranya juga uda dimulai. Pas nyampe disana, udah ada beauty blogger lainnya kayak Sabrina, Selvi, dan Lala.

Ga pake lama kita semua langsung duduk di tempat yg tersedia. Tapi menurut aku persiapan untuk acara ini kyaknya kurang di manage dengan baik ya karena kursi nya ada yg kurang, cermin nya juga kurang. Jadi aku sempet dipinjemi dulu Sleek Blush By 3 Pallette nya Lina karena cermin nya lumayan gede. Hehe.. Pas kita barusan nyampe, ada yg langsung sibuk dandan, ada yg masih sibuk foto2 dulu termasuk aku. Haha... And btw, sebelum nya kita udah sempet di bbm sama Nikki Chan untuk dateng ke acara dengan bare face. Sempet kaget sih tapi untungnya yg dimaksud bare face itu cukup sampe di step finishing powder aja. Jadi masih boleh pake foundation/bb cream, concealer, powder dll pokoknya cukup face makeup aja. Hehe...

Honestly, pas kita dateng, Japanese Beauty Expert, Ms. Yukiko Kanemune lagi nge-dandani seorang model dan kayaknya kita udah kelewatan cukup banyak step2 nya makanya waktu itu aku sempet bingung mw mulai dari mana. Jadi akhirnya kita yg datengnya telat mutusin untuk dandan dengan kreasi sendiri. Hehe..

Pas demo makeup, Ms. Yukiko dibantu seorang translator untuk menjelaskan tiap step yg dia lakukan pas nge-dandani model Shiseido dan produk makeup Shiseido apa yang dipake. Sayangnya, penjelasan dari Ms. Yukiko menurut aku agak kecepetan ya dan translate nya juga agak kurang jelas dan suara nya pelan gitu jadi ya lengkap deh. XD

Di tiap meja udah disediain beberapa produk makeup Shiseido kayak lip pallete, eyeshadow pallete, cream eyeshadow, mascara, eyebrow pencil, eyebrow kit, dan beberapa produk skincare Shiseido serta cleanser. Tapi yg anehnya produk2 makeup yg dipake Ms. Yukiko pas demo nyaris ga ada di meja kita jadi tambah bingung deh. XD

Pas yg lainnya lagi asyik dandan, sempetin bentar buat foto selca. Ini foto bare face aku. Hehe... :P

Di meja seberang keliatan si Zellyn lagi sibuk ma kamera nya dan Ce Shelley lagi asyik dandan. :D

Abis Ms. Yukiko selesai men-demokan makeup ala Jepang, sang model Shiseido keliling2 ke tiap meja untuk menunjukkan hasil makeup yg diperagakan oleh Ms. Yukiko. Honestly, envy banget ma modelnya karena postur tubuh nya yg tinggi dan ramping, dan bentuk wajahnya juga sangat proporsional. Well, i know it's kinda OOT. lol. And yes, I was definitely love the result! Warna2 eye makeup nya mungkin terlihat sederhana tapi justru sebagai profesional MUA hrus bisa menghasilkan makeup yg walaupun terlihat simple but gorgeous! Menurut aku, walaupun warnya dominan ungu tapi hasilnya tetap terkesan soft dan natural. EOTD ini cocok banget untuk hangout, party, atau formal event. :)

Setelah beauty workshop dilanjutkan dengan Mini Makeup Competition dan little quizzes. :P Jadi critanya, Ms. Yukiko harus milih satu orang yg makeup nya paling disukai Ms. Yukiko. Unfortunately, pemenang kontes mini makeup nya bukan salah satu dari IBB dan aku ga tau pemenang nya itu blogger atau bukan. Menurut Ms. Yukiko, dia suka dengan hasil makeup winner ini karena eye makeup nya terlihat ada gradasi nya gitu. Kalo aku sih asli nya jago-in Oline atau Lina ya karena eye makeup mereka keren banget. Hihi...

Seperti yg udah aku sebutin kalo selain kontes makeup, juga ada kuis2 kecil. Sebenarnya pertanyaan2 kuis nya gampang banget cuma sanking kita ga pay attention jadinya ga bisa jawab atau salah gitu pas jawab. Haha. :D Jadi critanya, Lina, Aku, dan Oline sempet ganti2an maju ke depan pas ditanyain nama lengkap nya Japanese Beauty Expert di acara Shiseido ini. Tp yg brhasil jawab dengan benar n dpet hdiah voucher belanja Shiseido bukan salah satu dari kita malah lagi2 tamu undangan yg ga kita kenal alias non IBB bloggers. :P

Ga nyangka acaranya selesai nya cepet banget dari jadwal yg udah ditentuin. Seharusnya jam 6-7 itu beauty workshop, dan jam 7-8 itu mini makeup competition dan kuis2. Tapi kayaknya ga sampe setengah 8 acaranya udah selesai. >.< Jadi kita para IBB mulai deh sibuk foto2. Hehehe...

Aih suka banget dengan smile nya si Lina and her gorgeous eyes! :)

Kalo bisa sih sering2 ada beauty event di Surabaya jadi bisa ngumpul2 terus. Haha. :D

Last month I reviewed ES-A503 eyelashes that was kindly sent by KkCenterHk (Review here) and I also received this paper eyelashes for review purposes. So... This time, let me share my experience of using this gorgeous and quirky paper eyelashes, ES Paper 14. To be honest, these are the first paper eyelashes I've ever tried and I was very excited to see how they'd come out. If you're wondering why I chose this lashes, that because I always love to try something unique and extravagant design of false eyelashes and this one is no exception. Mine is ES Honey Butterfly Rose Paper Eyelashes, and they were made of purely paper. They also come in small transparent plastic box and each box contains 1 pair.

I've wanted to try paper lashes for so long and thanks to KkCenterHk that completely made my day. I guess any paper lashes are still not available in my country since they have somewhat unusual designs/materials and kinda expensive.

This paper eyelashes are completely different from the false eyelashes that we wear everyday. Not only they were made of paper, but also the designs are very unique and outstanding. But, this paper eyelashes is not recommended for those not accustomed to using false eyelashes coz the material (read: paper) tend to be fragile and easily torn. 

  

Honestly, it's been months since I hardly wear my first false eyelashes. But, I find it harder putting paper lashes than ordinary false eyelashes coz they were made of frangible materials. And yeah...Actually, it's not that difficult to apply, all you need is just 'a little bit' of patience. lol.

These paper lashes would perfect be used in special occasion like theme parties, carnaval, halloween parties, prom, or perfect for romantic dinner look, gyaru/cosplay look, and even a new year's eve makeup look. They also fun and wearable for photoshoots. Last month, I actually planned to wear this lashes on my photoshoot. But, I've got no idea how to create the makeup look using this intricate paper lashes. Please excuse my poor skill. :P

Some bloggers recommend to trim the paper lashes into half its length or your desired length due to its full length. But I prefer to choose the full length  so they will look more dramatic. Hehe.

And here's my eye look wearing the lashes...

Can you see the gorgeous rose flowers in my eyes? LOL

Tips.I wouldn't recommend using an eyelash curler, but instead use your fingers to push them up so that they look more slender and avoid tearing.

WHAT I LIKED?
- Perfect for theme parties, fashion, new year's eve makeup look, and cosplay/gyaru look.
- The design is really unique and gorgeous
- The lashes come cased in a beautiful box  
- Definitely worth a try

WHAT I DIDN'T LIKE?
- Since they were made of paper, the lashes are really fragile so I should take them out of the box carefully or they will easily torn.


- Removing lashes must be done very carefully.
- Very difficult to bend and follow my eye line
- Not recommended for those not accustomed to using false lashes 
- Glue is not included

RECOMMENDED?
Yeah, If you love to try unusual false eyelashes designs and create a fabolous eye makeup looks.

OVERALL

I absolutely love the design and they really make my eyes become charming, but such a pity I don't know where to use them. Maybe, I will keep them for a special party or when I get in the mood to create an enchanted makeup look. :D But overall, they are totally worth a try!
